I think the windies dominated the world of cricket better .
The only point which goes against them is at that time there were not many competitive teams.
The aussies on the other hand always faced a tough challenge winning in india and sri lanka and also from south africa, although they managed to win on most of the times

i think Australia's domination .because they have won many WC matches and their winning percentage is more .and look at the record 31 matches undefeated .in WC history.......

I'd say Australia for their sheer length of domination in the game, the way they just utterly ground an opponent into the dust mentally and verbally and could fight back from seemingly hopeless situations

no doubt, w.indies. because their domination was fair and square, without bad mouthing, sledging and without being abusive arrogance
and who's your magical spinner ? warne ?? ............lol............

Australia. The Australian team holds all the records for most consecutive wins in test, most consecutive wins in ODI's, most consecutive matches without a loss and numerous others including 4 world cup finals in a row for 3 wins. West Indies did hold those records until Australia overtook them by twice winning 16 test matches in a row.

Both had domination at the time, but West Indies mostly relied on it's great pace bowling where as Australia didn't rely heavily on one facet as we had a great batting lineup down to 7 and great bowling lineup including two of the best ever bowlers.

The Windies had their fearsome quartet of quicks and rollicking batsmen.

Aus had crushing batters a magical spinner and a wily fast bowling.

Who do you think destroyed their opposition more comprehensively and why?

Probably the Windies because they changed the rules because of them. That is only two bouncers an over. Prior to this the Windies fast bowlers could and did, bowl mup to 6 bouncers an over. Though the Aussies were a truly great side, they didn't have to change the rules because of them.

Definately the Windies they had four fast bowlers who stood at over 6 foot 2 inches and all had the ability to bowl over 90 Mph. They could bowl their opposition out quickly. When batting they Had Greenidge, Haynes, Richards for the top three and if they failed they had clive lloyd to steady the ship. By far better at destroying the opposition than the Austrailian's who are prone to a middle order collapse.

We win this one.

As exceptionable as the Windies were in their day, they didn't win as many tests and dominate in such a fashion, for so long.
