Who's to Blame for the Gulf Oil Spill?

I read the articles real quick. This seems like a stupid thing to ask....but why the fuck does a state have to wait on an answer from the fed. to start putting up some sand barriers? Because the army is involved? Just have the state's national guard do it and call it a day!

Carville is right though, Obama at the very least should be down there talking to the families and seeing what kind of progress they are making. I don't believe the govt. should be footing the bill or in charge, but I guess him being there would show support.
 
The Consumers who demand/use this resource are responsible for this tragedy ……….. Each and Every one of us !!!!


Correction: Governments, "Big Businesses" and "Big Oil" are to blame for hypnotizing and misleading the public into believing that we need to Consume … Consume …. Consume …. Which results in the demand for Oil. Therefore, it is those greedy persons that sit at the top of politics and business that are ultimately responsible for this happening.
 
Laws. Because it's off the coast it goes from State to Federal plus the Army Corps of Engineers are under Federal authority.


If Jindal and the other governors were to just say "Fuck Obama" and start doing it without fed. approval they would be in deep deep shit.

and its the fact that it takes so much oil to strain off gas, like only 20% in a barrel of oil...

and a small percent of people burn fuel, have you seen the world population lately, sure not everybody drives, but dude WTF, yea I just emotional here, cum hold me

and i suppose you have not heard of the Pickens plan, google it, he discuess how he wants to start powering 18 wheelers off of natural gas, said it works just fine, said it would cut back on fuel from middle east a great deal

You drive a truck? I have friends who own a trucking company that I drive a rig for now and then. The cost of converting fleets over to natural gas would put most out of business.
Plus natural gas puts out less power than diesel and would be more expensive. So you would have the surviving 20% of the trucking companies having to spend more for fuel, stopping more often to fuel up and there by causing drastic price increases for pretty much every consumable out there.

Nice theory though.

You still have yet to respond about all the products we use every day that are made from oil or petroleum byproducts. Let me guess, your hippy teacher doesn't realize how many things require oil to be made either, right?
 
Those who hated the Bush Administration blamed him for 9/11 while then GOP supporters claimed BS and threw everyone under the table from Clinton to Carter. Now that the same is being used against Obama for the oil spill those same people who threw Bush under the bus is all asshurt that the same is being said about their Zero and are trying to blame capitalism and Bush for the problem while deflecting their hypocrisy back at the Republicans.

you saw how he tried to say this problem particularly with this rig has been since forever when investigative reporting shows inspections dropping off significantly within the last 10 years...hmmm wonder if fox news glenn beck and rush limbaugh will pick up on this??

I want to know what the inspection report that was done 10 days before the explosion said. You know, the one the government is refusing to release.

see thats just the problem, nobody wants to stop usage of oil, burn baby burn, people are gonna have to stop, and take notice of whats going on with the environment around us, if it keeps getting used up by bad industry planin, our natural resource's will not be able to support us all..
