Who's showing the Oscars this year?

Who's showing the Oscars live these days? Is it still with Sky, or back on the BBC?

It would be nice if they got someone new Billy Crystal is good but enough I think.

Well Jon Stewart is doing it this year, and I think he should be really good!

The general consensus seems to be that the Oscars will only be on Sky Movies - but I'm still hoping to hear otherwise.

Damm, they really should show it on Sky One, I know its obviously a way to get people to subscribe, but I doubt many people who don't subscribe would bother for a one off event. Besides, its such a big event, they really should give it a wide an audience as possible. Lets hope someone else steals it off Sky soon. Looks like I'll have avoid the papers and watch the hacked bits, opps, highlights on BBC2 the next day.

It's usually sky movies...haven't missed a show in ten years me!

I am an oscar freak..but preferred it on the BBC as I don't have Sky upstairs so have to stay up on the sofa all night.

Who's doing the pre-show and in-between ad breaks banter? Jamie Theakston and Sharon Osbourne again? Sharon's not cheap these days but she's just as vile.

From the Sky Movies website - they are definately showing the Oscars on Sky Movies One at 1am. No mention of the British presenters though.
