Teachers, Parents or let them learn it on their own?? Why?

How important do you think sex education is?

Mom & Dad are the only ones that can impart values in regards to sex education, and if you dont have any values in regard to this topic, you are headed for trouble. Sex education is vital. It starts in the very beginning of a child's life with gender identification and is a never ending process. To not teach it to your kids is negligant.

There is nothing wrong with teaching kids the logisitics and the down and dirty facts about your reproductive system, birth control, etc at school, but a school is unequipt to teach your values in regard to sex. You need to do it at home.

It's definitely the parents responsibility...but let's face it...not all parents are going to educate thier child about sex. I think it's very important to have it in the schools. In my son's school, they talk about disease, prevention, etc...but the main focus/goal is abstinence.

Primarily the parents responsibility as early as possible, at the child's level. Why? Well, no one taught me anything so I decided to learn on my own....
Very important

It used to be the parents, aling with the church in many cases (teaching morality, not nec, sex education) but now days its teachers mostly and sadly, the media because a lot of parents don't do their job.
