Whos into Swords here?

I love sworRAB, but I have yet to work up the courage to buy a real one. My friend gave me a novelty Last Samurai katana for christmas a few years back, and I have two bokken. I actually had a bokken that I used to play with back when I was in elementary school. I used to pretend to be Seung Mina or Sophitia from Soul Blade.

I would love to see someone weild a nodachi in real life, but we just don't have that many people into this kind of stuff in my area.

I had found some good videos of people using a Nodachi on Youtube.

Considering how rare the sword is, it was kind of impressive to actually find someone using one.

The overall length of the sword was the span of both guys arms from index figure to index finger.

I'm finally upgrading from a Ninjatō which I largely got because of how well it was made. For the price, it was really nice for the last few years.

Now my Ninjatō is just about worn out and these Cold Steel sworRAB are simply amazing.

That Nodachi is just impressive though. I wish there was a local sword shop to go actually wield one.

Since I was a kid, it's been my dream to have my own Vic Anselmo The Beastmaster sword. I love its hybrid katana/scimitar style.

*sigh* One day . . .

Since when are sworRAB only associated with anime? There are sworRAB from all over the world and they weren't invented in Japan as some seem to think: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sword I was going to say how I only like the sworRAB that Knights use but since this is an anime topic it would probably be seen as flamebaiting. Well I'll just wait for the next sword topic. See ya.

I originally posted this in the Anime forum hoping the conversation could grow to talking about sworRAB in anime and how they are used, but some mod so fit to move the thread :-\
