Who's going stronger RIGHT NOW, South Park or Family Guy?

It's funny, you could take everything you just said and switch "Family Guy" and "South Park" and IMHO it would still make perfect sense.

This is going to turn into a "Praise South Park/Bash Family Guy" thread, isn't it?

Turn into? Dude there's no other place for this thread to go except posts slanting one series for the other.

IMO, neither of them are doing too hot right now.

I'd say Family Guy was far better this past season than it was in season 7. Even Thad K seems to be enjoying it, and that's saying quite a bit! :p

i definitely like south park a lot more, but neither show is that good. the most recent south park episodes, except for a few, have been quite disappointing. then again, family guy has been disappointing me for years.

I think South Park is stronger right now, especially after that recent controversy. That can only drive interest in the show in the up direction.

As for which one is better, it's really an episode by episode situation, and for me I feel that Family Guy has had more good episodes in the last year than South Park has. But overall, I feel both shows are past their prime.

Are you asking if there are fewer adult cartoons these days than there were in the 90's? Then the answer is no, that's not the case at all.

I personally prefer Family Guy over South Park, but I have to say that it seems that South Park is going stronger right now than Family Guy. I don't care much for either show in their current season, but in the past, I would prefer Family Guy, even though South Park is stronger right now.

There's also the turn around time for an episode. South Park gets a lot of that attention because they can crank out an episode while the news is still current. Family Guy may take more time but I think the quality is much better.

Growing in popularity? It's nowhere near as popular as it was ten years ago. There was a time when South Park was HUGE. And getting better? I remember a time when you really didn't have to talk about a "hit and miss ratio" for South Park, because truly bad episodes were pretty rare. Now it seems there's an awful episode for every good one.

I go with Family Guy. I find the stories in the current episodes to be quite entertaining and good way to look back, especially with them relying less and less on cutaways. South Park, I'm not really a big fan of their political humor, might have to do with me not giving a damn about politics, that and other than the Muhammad episodes, I wasn't really impressed with this season that much. South Park lends themselves more to being outdated by keeping up with current events.

I loved both of them I cant really think that either are stronger then the other. I will admit Family Guy was pretty terrible at one point but then Road to Multiverse started out the new season and the rest was really good sure not every episode was gold but no season is perfect same goes for South Park. I dont see how either show is starting to become The Simpsons. Sure there past there prime but I can say they are still fun to watch and will still put out some really great episodes.

Wow did Cartoon Wars really divide people up this badley?
