Whos getting/got Zelda: TP for gamecube?

GameSpot said it best when they said "The Gamecube version is fine... But if you have the means to get the Wii version and you still get the Gamecube version, then you are a fool".

Not being able to find a Wii != Not having the means to buy one.

If you have $300 in your pocket, then get your ass to a store and wait in line for a Wii + Zelda. They are out there, many places still stock them. Just keep looking... It's WELL worth it. The Wii version's controls kick ass!
 
apparently my mom was walking thru the mall and a guy was standing outside gamestop announcing they had gotten a large surprise shipment of wii's. she of course had no clue what they were and told me this today...sigh
 
I bought the Gamecube version, althought I had to run to five places on the 12th to get it. Some places were saying their release dates were different than other stores which was retarded. Playing it on the GCN is fine, it'll be exactly what you're used to if you've played Zelda before on the GCN (RE: Windwaker). I've played both the Wii version and the GCN version and I personally don't see a graphical difference. Gameplay wise, sure the Wii might be more fun and interactive, but if you don't have it, you're not going to be sacrificing too much, if anything regarding what you're used to.
 
No, I'm not in daniel [sic]. The Wii is awesome and I'll buy one when I can find one; right now I'll do what I can with what I have.

It's all good, it's been too cold lately for me to camp out. It's so frustrating driving around looking in store after store trying to find one. I've accepted the fact that I won't have a Wii until sometime after Christmas. Until then I'll enjoy Twilight Princess on the Gamecube.
