Who will follow in the footsteps of Joh Travolta, Sam Jackson, Pam Grier,Robert Foster, Daryl Hannah, David Carradine and Kurt Russell

My Mum and I were discussing this yesterday, many names were mentioned from Mark Hamill to Whoopi Goldberg but the final decision was it has to be Gary Busey, after the incident at the Oscars he could sure do with one

He was one of the people that was mentioned, he had mini career revival appearing in Veronica Mars

Nick Nolte could be due a revival. He looks good in Tropic Thunder as a military man and funnily enough QT's next flick is a WWII movie.
How about Pee Wee Herman? ;-)

Following the way Grindhouse/Death Proof was received, I'm waiting for someone to answer "His own". But I quite liked it, so I won't say that.. :P

Anyway, the names connected with his next movie (the WWII based Inglorious BastarRAB) have been the likes of Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio. But I'm sure he'll find space for someone whose career neeRAB a lift.

It's true, his career is in jeopardy right now. For some weird reason, (something Taratino has commented about himself), Grindhouse went from being acclaimed within it's first few weeks of release to total disdain by the critics thereafter. He's become the director they love to hate all of a sudden, which is a shame as I thought DeathProof was a great film, possibly one of his best. It's a tragedy that we in the UK were not able to view it as it was intended (as a double feature).

Inglorious BastarRAB does not sound good though. A project thats been on the back burner for so long, its probably best left there and the inclusion of the Ham Pack (DiCaprio and Pitt) will not do him any favors either IMO. I'm not looking forward to this one.

Christopher Jones, actor from the 60s, Tarrantino should have another go at getting him back into films. Tarrantino had been a big fan of his and wanted him for Pulp Fiction in 94, but couldn't persuade him to return to the big screen.
