Different regiments train for different purposes and have different SOPs (Standard operating procedures). Very hard to say, it would also depend highly on exeperience of the given solidier, as training only prepares who, and does not always equip you for the real thing.
the french foreign legion doesn't recruit. they dont have to worry about the mothers of america whining to congress because their sons went crying home when they couldnt make it. they hold themselves to their motto 'march or die'
they dont make up cutesy little slogans or find ways to puff themselves up. their training and teamwork speaks for itself.
ive seen marine recon and airborne rangers that are getting out so they can go try their hand with the legion. it doesnt happen the other way around.
when you dont have to make a quota you get real selective. it lets you raise the bar to a level that is rarely achieved by any large standing force for any amount of time.
