...financial issue!!!? if he goes for around 20-30m, it would be that bad because we could snap up a good replacement - hopefully young and talented and not pay more than £20m for him then have money for other players.

I think we will only lose one of mascherano or alonso so which ever ones goes the other will fill in fine we have lucas who is getting better spearing coming through not worried mate,
 
i think you should look a bit more lacally, im not a fan but i think scousers could do with a couple more creative and technical midfielders. maybe look at tom huddlestone? 6-8mil kranjcar?8-15mil
moutinho would be good to.. lennon? 12-18mil snejder?15+mil robben?15+ both of whom are likely to be sold.. those two would be a good choice as of the realmadrid spending spree. hope this helps..
 
Lucas - He can be great if play lots of game. He's a Brazilian after all
 
Baring in mind the financial situation it would probably be cheaper to send LUCAS to a plastic surgeon and make him look like Alonso, then sell HIM to Madrid.
