I'm talking about Joe's question to Obama. Who explained it best? Joe the Plumber hit Obama's tax plan on the head or Obama made the case paying higher taxes is not a punishment?

Joe hit nothing anywhere.

after some analysis of reality... Joes' MAYBE company is one with a buddy, and that MAY GROSS 280 grand a year. Gross, my friend... NOT net. It is probably generous that AFTER expenses, the company MIGHT clear 25 percent, meaning 70 grand, which is then split between Joe and his partner. And.. hey... the tax on the business itself will probably get a credit, if Joe and Buddy hire the guy down the street who got laid off from his other job.
What it plays out to is that Joe will maybe CLEAR 35 grand a year, and get A LOWER TAX by Obama's goals.
Joe needs to get a better accountant to explain how being an owner is not all it is cracked up to be. And he also needs to know that he can't be a plumber without a license.
Obama can't make much of a case, when a taxpayer asks something without doing his homework (ie being an educated voter, and reading what the plan is).
As for McCain thinking he scored on Joe, by warning him that Obama would HURT him... he missed again.
Say it ain't so, Joe. You got played. Not by Obama.
