No one said Reagan's policies had failed 6 months in? You're wrong about that one. We always have opposing ideologies in the US and we opposed Obama's when he was campaigning on them.

People have political and economic theories, we are not a zombie collective. Well, some of us.

...take full effect by now? Many people seem to be arguing that Obama's policies "have failed," as if they've already done everything they will ever do.

Who from the administration ever said that by now, we would see the full benefit of the administration's economic policies? Did Obama say, "My policies will substantially improve the U.S. economy by July, 2009"?

Keep in mind that unemployment kept increasing three years into Reagan's first term, and no one said that Reagan's policies "had failed" within six months of Reagan taking office.

So why do people expect that solving the nation's largest economic problems since the Great Depression would only take six months? Haven't they been through any other downturns? Do they really think that's the way it works?

The people who are saying that Obama has failed don't even believe that. They would have to be complete morons to believe that 6 months is enough time to bring the country out of a recession.

The stimulus package has barely been delivered. No rational person can expect many positive results at this point.

Anyone who says they do, is either terribly stupid, or they're just babbling for effect.

Wow I find it truly amazing that on November 5th 2008 one day after the elections every Obama supporter was saying in only a few months once our boy (more like their God) takes office everything will work itself out for the better.

Fast foreword to July of 2009 and his supporters are saying just give him some time. It takes time for things to work etc. I will agree with that but for once I would just like to hear one Obama supporter admit they built there guy up to be more than what he was.
