The reporting mechanism here is a monster, that creates divisiveness, suspicion and tit-for-tat reporting vendettas.
Any benefits it might have in protecting people from content that (some people think) others shouldn't see is overwhelmed by the damage it does to good feeling here in R&S.
People become convinced that specific posters with whom they disagree are out to get them, and respond in kind.
I'd like to formally and publicly undertake NEVER to report a Q or A, regardless of how stupid, insulting, obscene or disagreeable its content. I never have, and I never will.
Anyone care to take a similar pledge so we know who NOT to suspect of malice?
