Here is what the Army Field Manual says about torture:

The use of force, mental torture, threats, insults, or exposure to unpleasant and inhumane treatment of any kind is prohibited by law and is neither authorized nor condoned by the US Government. Experience indicates that the use of force is not necessary to gain the cooperation of sources for interrogation. Therefore, the use of force is a poor technique, as it yields unreliable results, may damage subsequent collection efforts, and can induce the source to say whatever he thinks the interrogator wants to hear.

Who is right, the Army---or Cheney, Bush, and Rumsfeld?

The patriots who acted to save lives. Bush and Cheny.

Obma is a traitor. He is dismantiling the military and our intelligence services. He was born in Kenya according to his relatives and was a Muslim.

The documents show that information obtained from tortue prevented anohter 9/11.

Bush was President, right? He authority suppercedes the Army Field manual, which usually deals with POW's. We are dealing with saboteurs who are not protected. Let's not forget that the survival of American Citizens some of which are children. Any one of them is worth more than a misplaced sense of "morality."

One that confounds good and evil is an enemy to the good.

Someone forgot to tell the drill instructors that the use of force, mental torture, threats, insults, or exposure to unpleasant and inhumane treatment of any kind is prohibited by law and is neither authorized nor condoned by the US Government

The rules have changed and we are no longer fighting conventional soldiers, we are fighting terrorists and its a whole new game and it needs new "rules"

There is the right way, the wrong way, the Army way, and my way.

We do things my way.

no ' successful ' Terrorist Attack on U.S. soil after 09/11/2001

FM- 2-23-2, FM 32-54, My bible for 11 years and my brothers bible for
30 years. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Don't quote things
from this manual that you are not part or privy to. You have no more
understanding of what is between those pages then fly.

They both are, while pouring water on someones face is unpleasant it is not inhumane. So it doesn't fit the definition. Putting a caterpillar on someone is not torture either, it's what kids do on the playground.

The one who is right is the one who pulls the Jack Bower and saves lives. Obama is a coward and lives in a daydream world as do all other liberals.
