That was Perseus, son of Danae and Zeus. Zeus transformed into golden rain, and impregnated Danae in a tower her father, King Acrisius, had locked her up in, because a prophet had told him that Danae would bore a child that would kill him.
Perseus, after decapitating Medusa, (he was planning on giving the head to King Polydectes, king of Sephiros, as a wedding gift, that man that had given Danae and Perseus a home after escaping the tower Danae was locked up in). Perseus was dancing with the nymphs of the west, his cousins who had given him the tools and instructions to kill Medusa. These nymphs were daughters of Atlas, and he hated seeing them dancing with joy, so he shook the earth causing destruction. Perseus, with the flying shoes given to him by Hermes, made by Athena, flew to the face of Atlas with Medusa´s head and turned him to stone.
In the end, when Perseus returned to Sephiros with Medusa´s head, to give it to King polydectes, he then understood that the king had tricked him into leaving the kingdom to marry Danae, who was miserable as Polydectes´ wife. There was a wedding party when Perseus arrived, and as vengeance he held up the head of Medusa and turned everyone into stone except his mother, since he told her to close her eyes. Coincidentally, King Acrisius was in that group and also turned to stone, so thus the prophet was right... King Acrisius died by the hands of his grandson.
