Who listens to classic Tupac? I cant stand modern hip hop and the fucked up releases of Tupac's previously unreleased tracks.

"Even if I die, it don't worry me,
mama don't cry, bury me a G'

it would be a severe understatement to say i still listen to his music. it's practically all i listen to. it's insanely spiritual because you can really feel the realness and intensity he has. his music and poetry are some of the most inspirational things on this planet...which no doubt is why they have classes devoted to his work in schools like harvard and nyu.

i will listen to his music until i am dead. it NEVER gets old...and has gotten me through a LOT of hard times.

here is an excerpt from "me against the world" that a lot of people find highly inspirational:

"With all this extra stressin
The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath
When will I finaly get to rest? Through this supression
they punish the people that's askin questions
And those that possess, steal from the ones without possesions
The message I stress: to make it stop study your lessons
Don't settle for less - even the genius asks-es questions
Be grateful for blessings
Don't ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people and politics we address
Always do your best, don't let the pressure make you panic
And when you get stranded
And things don't go the way you planned it
Dreamin of riches, in a position of makin a difference
Politicians and hypocrites, they don't wanna listen
If I'm insane, it's the fame made a brother change
It wasn't nuttin like the game
It's just me against the world..."

Its not really my style. But I bust out the old albums now and then from back in the early 90's.
Me Against The World is easily the best album in my book.

Dear Mamma - classic stuff, still gives me chills.
The only rapper I really had respect for.
Changes is a classic also and most of the songs on MATW.

The Brotherhood man, wat a time....
