Who should win the Best Picture prize at the 2010 Oscars?

I've only seen 5 of them.
Up, Up in the Air, A serious Man, District 9 and Avatar.
Out of those A serious Man would be my choice, though it hasn't a chance realistically.

I'm curious to see An Education, I thought the book was poor so am intrigued to see if the movie is better.

Has to be Inglorius BasterRAB for me, that film had everything going for it, fab cast, edge of your seat stuff at times, wonderful music and a great script

I liked An Education, but Up made me weep in public - several times, and I would love to see an animated film do well.

If Avatar wins I'll depair (Cameron's not made a good film since T2 IMO)

I've only seen An Education, but I absolutely loved it so I'm hoping it wins, even if I am a tad biased. :D
Also hoping Carey Mulligan wins Best Actress.

Oh dear. An Education is a good film but if that's the only one you've seen then I would advise you to tread carefully around some of the others because some have a ridiculous amount of nominations that aren't justified at all.

Avatar hasn't got a chance. It will get snubbed and perhaps rightly so, although it is my favourite of those listed that I have seen.

I loved District 9, but every real person (i.e. not a film critic or reviewer who all seemed to rave about it) thought it was absolute pants, so much so that I was almost put off going to see it.

Whereas the reverse is true of avatar, I don't personally know a single person who went to see it and didn't enjoy it.

As long as it's not Avatar, then that's okay by me!

I fail to see the fascination it's just.. fake.
There's just primarily nothing to it apart from CGI.
No real emotions. Just no! Not a fan at all.

I really like An Education.
& would like to see that win at least one award - I think it has three nominations.
Carey Mulligan, is a good actress but I don't think she will win the leading actress award. The BAFTA came for her for being British.

Up is also great, it's in the animation catergory which it's going to win, & it should win, so I don't agree it should be up for best picture. I know there was some debate about that.

So ideally, An Education or Up In The Air, I voted for An Education.

But if I was a betting girl it will be crap I mentioned or The Hurt Locker.
