I live in a box, and its got nothing to do with the television box. I've got no idea who to vote for, and i want to though!

I personally think you should vote for Barack Obama because he has a calm and intelligent approach to problems we face
i'm not saying he has all of the answers but at least he's willing to thoroughly look into all options instead of making hot headed decisions that are catastrophic in time.. which i feel Bush has done

Also we have to regain our standing in the world i know some people seem to think america is god and we can do whatever we want but there are other countries and we need allies especially since we're at war with two countries and i know europe definitely prefers obama

I feel Obama would better handle peaceful talks with Russia and iran because i don't believe we could fight iraq, iran, russia, afghanistan and possibly pakistan at the same time the numbers are against us even if every american 300 million fought we're Still outnumbered and Nuclear war isn't the answer it would destroy the environment and send the world spiraling into chaos

I also feel Obama has a better understanding of normal everyday americans and the economy. he had to work hard to get where he is and he knows what its like to be without and so he can better identify with middle class americans who are struggling with mortgages and gas prices perhaps he is doing well now but that's only because he worked his ass off to get there against all odds

idk i just overall think our country will be better with obama

Don't vote for the guy who got his political start via his relationship with a self-admitted terrorist who wanted to bring down the US government.

Well you have McCain who is a republican. Like all republicans he believes in deregulation and minimizing the Impact of government on our freedoms. (ok, so you have to discount George W Bush from that generalization). McCain has also shown a tendency towards pro-war and occupations by the military, even in areas that are so volatile that such actions are likely to back fire.

You have Obama who believes that the government and economy have left a large segment of our population behind when it comes to prosperity and the ability to achieve ones potential. As such he is in favor of regulations that reign in corruption that robs opportunities from others less fortunate. On the whole he wants to broker peace but is at the same time adamant that we hunt down Bin Laden by applying pressure to the countries that are harboring him and the Taliban (via their need for our military support that they use to prop up their national security).

As for their stances on the issues, for the most part the process of an election forces them to adjust to the main stream. We won't know how they really feel till they are in office and try to get the legislature to pass the laws they want. However you can take a look at their character (or at least that of the campaigns they run) at http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/

Think about this: The biggest problems facing our country at this moment are-

1. The financial crisis, which was most likely caused by corruption.
2. Threats from Russia, Iran and terrorists.

Now consider this:

McCain/Palin are running on a platform of corruption-busting (which both McCain AND Palin have a documented history of), experience, and experience with foreign policy/war.

Obama, on the other hand, has documented TIES to corrupt individuals, documented ties to terrorists, both domestic and foreign, and has VERY little experience.

Which of the two do you feel more secure with?
