Who really washes their hands after using a public restroom (whether at work,

restaurant, anywhere)? I, personally, always wash mine when I'm in a public place... now when it comes to home - probably not all the time and with soap. When I'm at someone else's house I use water and occassionally use soap...

I would think anyone with a modicum of awareness about the potential bacteria and germs that abound in and on so many things in a public restroom they would not miss the opportunity to wash with soap and water each and every time they used the facilities. It is a small effort to avoid some potentially serious problems. Who wouldn't wash?

I wash my hands every time, no matter where I am. Is not a compulsion thing, is more of a I have been trained and I have seen the effects of rampant or unchecked bacteria that could easily be avoided by simple washing.

I always use soap no matter where I am. And when I use a public restroom I don't touch the door knob with my hands when leaving the room; I use a paper towel. After watching the program "The Doctors" I wouldn't dream of using restrooms without washing up after wards.
