Does anyone know who is responsible for buying the military their outfits? Who can I talk to if i'm working with a company that wants to show them some equipment options?

you would first talk to the department of defense and tell them what you have ,then they might send you to the department of the army and again you have to start over and show them what you have and they might test them and see if they met there specs if they like it they might give you a contract for a few to try out .

There are events similar to trade shows. You get into one of those and if the right people see it and are impressed it will go from there.

I just attended one but it dealt with different equipment.

Military personell are given a yearly allowance for their [uniforms], by the way. Uniforms are bought at the base/post BX (Base Exchange) or at the Aafes online store, as well.

I am unsure if they are the sole or formal supplier of uniforms, but I know that the company Tru-Spec makes a large number of the military's uniforms.

Other than that, we just get them from supply of CIF and don't ask too many questions.

the military gets their uniforms and equipment from a variety of sources.

I know Marlowe White does a lot of uniform contracting.
