I'm confused about who has to pay for a paternity test. The father of my child is the only person I've even kissed so obviously there is no other options. But his parents said they would like a paternity test to be done. We weren't planning on going to court to establish child support. We were going to try to work things out by ourselves. So would he be responsible for paying for that test since he's the one who wants it? If for some reason we do have to end up in court over child support who would pay for a paternity test then? I don't know how I can afford it. And he is the one who brought it up.
