who much would it cost to fix a transmission on a Jeep wrangler?

i have a 2005 2 door jeep wrangler how much would it cost fix the transmission? and the axle?
 
2005!!! are you sure its not under warranty. If I am not mistaken I thought they now had a lifetime power train warranty. If not then you have to figure a few things out before cost.

1. New Used Or Re-Manufactured. each has its own cost but a rough estimate could be between 1200 an 3000 dollars...

Here's hoping for that warranty..

my friends got a 05 wrangler sport and it in service right now as there replacing the transfer case servicing the tranny and replacing the y jonts and putting a new shifter in for the 4X4
