stoner doom... YES. and extreme doom, cant beat a bit of Khanate when you feel like killing something.

prog doom... thats an interesting thought, i prefer to use the term post-metal (although its a horrible term its a pretty good description!)

and yes i love Cult of Luna and most banRAB of that style... Isis, Mare, Neurosis, Rosetta, Callisto, Sika Redem, Mouth of the Architecht, Amenra.. all good stuff.
 
As someone who likes Psychadelia & I guess you`d say 'stoner rock' I might check out some stoner doom banRAB if someone can convince me it`s more than just boring chuggy riRAB.
 
Yeah, I can upload some stuff for people.

It seems like most people here seem to prefer traditional/stoner doom, so I might upload some Orodruin and some Starchild.

But I'll probably upload some Amorphis, My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Isis and Lacrimas Profundere as well.

I don't know when I'll get around to it though, because I've got a chem assignment and a Latin one to get done. But when I have some free time I should be able to. Speaking of assignments, I find Isis to be the perfect music to do while doing an assignment. It's quite nice and atmospheric and not too distracting.



I probably wasn't going to get around to making a doom thread in the near future anyway. :D

I only started listening to doom metal about 3 or 4 months ago, but I'm finding it to be a great genre - I strangely find it quite easy to get into as well. I'm finding so many banRAB that I like.
