Hello!
I'm looking for an eastern martial art that would suit me the most.
I am searching for a style which is mainly based on "hand-fighting" (something like aikido; I can't describe it well - my English is still poor... :( ) - levers, kicks, blows. Additionally I would like if it have some techniques from fighting with a sword and preferably some acrobatic movements (like in capoeira).
Does anyone knows any good style like that?
Best regards!

based on your preferences you should be looking out for a korean martial art.....stuff like Hapkido and Hoi jeon mu sul....check out some videos for both martial arts on Youtube.

Possibly Kempo or Hapkido?

You might look into Wing Tsun also, for hand fighting.

That said, try to bear in mind the arts at which you will excel are the ones you can practice full-on, rather than relying on an uke to 'throw himself' for you. You develop considerably more confidence when you're trying to pin/throw someone who is trying not to be pinned/thrown.

Shaolin Kung-Fu is the closest to what you described... Chin-Na is like there version of Aikido, and they do several weapons forms.

Tough to find an instructor unless you're in a major city though. There 2 good ones in NY.
