Who knows a breed of fish to put in fish bowls?

Does anyone know a Fish you can put in a fish bowl that don't require air pump. I already have a betta and don't like goldfish cause the are messy. I have a snail named fred as well:). I might get another bowl. (mine is a 3 gallon, because my betta is a spollied boy) I might add a fish in with him or get another bowl. My birthday is coming up in under a month so im going to ask for one of those 5 or 6 gallon mini tanks. I would get a big 10 gall or something but my mom hates big fish tanks cause she says they are a eyesore. LOL so the limit is bowls and jars. ( I also have a snail in a half gallon jar with a aquatic plant for him to eat). Please comment:) I love fish and I'm looking for fish that dont require air pumps or filters. I dont think they would even need a filter because I clean all my tanks every 2 or 3 days.
You dont need a heater for 75-85 degree water. Most houses are already that temp. I checked the water in both my bowl with a betta and my 1/2 gallon pickle jar with a mystery snail and they are both about 78 degrees. My house heater is at 76 degrees.
 
the easiest fish to put in a bowl is a beta fish, no pump or filter just the fish a bowl and distilled water, perfect fish, but only put on fishy in a bowl the males fight to death, plus females eat young
 
The labyrinth fishes or anabantids have an organ called the labyrinth that enables them to breathe air through the surface of their bodies.In this group we find the Bettas (the Siamese Fighting Fish , the Gouramies (Pearl Gourami) and the Perch. Some of the fishes belonging to this group form "bubble" nests. So any bettas and gouramies dont need a pump. The only one not to go for is a pink kissing gourami they get 6 to 8 inchs long, way to big for a bowl.
 
to spoil a betta would require a betta pond anf if ur mom says no to tanks well....:P....any who biorb does make 8 gallon bowls and they come with everything they are worth wat u spend....as far as fish go NO GOLDFISH IN A BOWL....most goldfish u find will need 12 gallons per goldfish to live peacefully and happily...theres a thing called stocking its where u take the average adult size of a fish and for every inch you will need one gallon follow this rule for all tropical fish for goldfish its 2 gallons per inch... if you do get the biorb dwarf gouramis are awesome and swim around alot more than a betta in a 3 gallon bowl...btw if u wanna give ur betta something to play with wash out a plastic bottle cap and let it float on the water:D
 
Do some research into Paradise Fish,they are relatives of Bettas,and there are a couple of species. Being larger than Bettas they may require even more work to maintain 1 or 2 in a bowl,but it is possible.
 
although i am completely against bowls, betta fish and paradise fish both have the ability to go up to the surface of the water to get the air they need.
 
All fish require filtration. Even labyrinth fish can suffer from ammonia burns/poisoning.

Bettas require filtration and aquarium heaters to maintain their temperature between 77F-82F.

~Because you mentioned them- Goldfish kept in bowls are doomed to ammonia poisoning, suffocation, and (assuming they last long enough) stunted growth, and a premature death.
