This is a very good documentary about how corporate America is buying patents for advanced technology in automotive industry then burying it so no one is aware of this clean & green technology. This can have an immediate impact on global warming but instead the government behind Bush pushes for fuel cell technology that is still 50 years away from any real use. Electric cars are ready to be used the technology is here, but that means the Oil companies and the Automotive companies will lose profits from Gas and internal combustion engine parts. servicing an electric car is just rotating the tires every 4,000 miles as opposed to changing oil, filters, belts, spark plugs, etc, etc... PLEASE WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!

I think there are also rules (or heavy tariRAB) against an individual bringing a car with better fuel economy (let's say from Europe) into the United States.

Big Oil, The Automotive Industry, and politicians all getting in the way of a technology they all should be embracing. They could have catered to a niche consumer group (those wanting the electric car), while still selling gas powered vehicles.

OT: The doc "The Future Of Food" is also very good.
