Exactly what it says on the tin, who is your favourite villian(s)?

Mine has to be Robert Patrick as the T-1000 in Terminator 2. :p

Probably loaRAB I could list! But for now I'll say Torin Thatcher in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and he was pretty dastardly in Jack the Giant Killer too.

Oh, actually, here's another, Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast, evil, twisted, scary b*****d!

My top villians

General Zod
Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman)
Darth Sidious
The Joker (Heath Ledger)
Dracula (Christopher Lee)
Hans Gruber
Freddy Krueger

The thief, in "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover", is probably the least likeable villain in film. A fantastic and brave performance.

Good call.

Amazing that the same actor could play both Gandhi and this vile creature.

I would like to add Rutger Hauer in 'The Hitcher' to the mix.

I did think Sean Bean did a better version of delievering the terror in the remake, but the plot of the original is so much better....

"Voltan" from "Hawk the Slayer"

how can you not love Jack Palance's burnt faced villain with nuggets of dialogue such as:

Voltan: (crushing a man's neck as he eats) "Voltan owns everything, the table the chairs, the very food you eat, I own everything including your useless lives. Remember it well!" (man drops forward onto table, dead) "Your friend has lost his appetite it seems!"

2nd Man: "The hunchback will have something to say about this!"

Voltan: "The hunchback may have many things to say, but you have already said too much! CUT THE TONGUE FROM HIS HEAD, IT TIRES ME!"

or, it has to be Lo Pan from Big Trouble in Little China

"Shut up Mr. Burton, you were not brought upon this world to get it!"
