Who is the Worlds Greatest Actor/Actress?

I'm not an expert on Oldman films but hes never struck me as being an actor capable of showing a broad range of emotions, at least not convincingly.
 
For my money

For sheer versatility the Greatest actor is Dustin Hoffman.


I cant think of the best Actress, racking my brain but no one sticks out. Kate Winslet is great but surely there is better.
 
The only Depp performances I like were in Finding Neverland and Donnie Brasco. His acting in Sleepy Hollow was OK if a bit OTT for my tastes, dito POTC.

Fair enough. That opinion rather goes against the grain (Oldman is often mentioned as one of the most versatile actors around today), but fair play to you. Never got the fuss about DeNiro myself. Although I suspect the MPAA will confiscate my DVD collection for saying that.

Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed James McAvoy in Last King Of Scotland. (Or would have liked to!!!)
