I like Heinlein Asimov, Frank Herbert, and Orson Scott Card
Who are some other good ones?

not twilight.

Since you seem to like the old masters of SF, try Philip K Dick and Ray Bradbury. Greg Bear is also a good read.

Andre Norton is also one of my favs, though she tends to do a lot of fantasy novels, too.

Edit: Ah, how could I forget Sheri Tepper!

David Brin, Anne McCaffrey, Cory Doctorow, Pete Hautman, and Scott Westerfeld are very good.

I am lucky enough to have met Asimov, and Herbert before they died and got their autograph. I also have Fred Pohl's autograph.

I never got Robert Heinlein's, or Arthur C. Clarke's autographs though.
