I wanna know your opinion about who you think is the best composer in the human history.

in my opinion, I think Mozart is the best Musician because his music is very brilliant, his music make me sad and happy.

What is your opinion?

Thank you for your answers

Atte: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

I don't think one person can be said to be a better musical composer then another. Everyone has there own styles, unique to them. Each composers music represent different things, and different emotions. For example, Chopin's music places a strong emphasis on emotion as well as technique.

I don't think you can weigh up one composer to another: every body's music, in the same way as there character, is unique and individual and should be given respect.

It would have been hard to figure out your favorite composer if you did not tell us... other than you user name being W.A. Mozart, along with your avatar of Mozart and you signing as W.A. Mozart. Ye he he!

Um, about the question, you can't really expect people to pick ONE person to be the best composer of all time, right? I mean, that's just not possible.

There are many composers that are supreme in their own specific styles. Steve Reich is a wonderful minimalist, but you cannot say that he is a better composer because Corigliano is not as good in minimalism, right? Many believe that Bach is the best, but many also believe that Mozart, Beethoven, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Brahms, Wagner, Ravel, Faure, Glass, Saint-Saens, Duparc, Satie, Ives, Copland, Hovhaness, Prokofiev, Bartok, Schnittke, Adams, Milhaud, Ockeghem, Dufay, Poulenc... the list can go on and on.

I, in no way can say that there is one composer who is the "best." I can list about 40 of my favorites, but not one above all the rest. There are too many characteristics that need to be compared that just are not comparable. Apples with oranges...

This is an incredibly hard question to answer because as a pianist, I feel like the best composer in the world depends on what piece i'm working on at that moment. However, I do have favorites; Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, Beethoven, and Haydn. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses but I really love Chopin, his pieces just touches me so deeply, his melodies are simply divine.
