My mom used to recite the following poem to my sister and me when we were little. She found it "in a book at the library" and we'd love to know the source. Any ideas
I say to lick a candy stick
until it's sharp enough to prick
And if you have a lemon drop
then tuck it right inside your cheek
and suck it
To bite it would be very wrong
because it would not last you long.
