who is the author of bible? atheist only?

The bible is a collection of writ tings. The books of the bibles were chosen by the church in the fourth century. There were many christian texts at the time that were destroyed by the church that contradicted their version of Christ. Many have since been discovered since. Look up the nostic manuscripts. They confirm many of the bibles stories, but also include more information then the bible contains.

Some humans. There surely wasn't only one person, and God writing it seems very illogical considering the number of times it contradicts itself, not to mention there is no evidence of that at all.

Unknown. There were rewrites of earlier writers, combinations of different accounts and then some people actually wrote what we read.

Perhaps the only author that we can be semi sure about is Paul writing several of the new testament books, and the hermit John writing Revelations.

The Bible had hundreds of authors over a period of several millenia. The Old Testament shows many signs of having been edited, with various writings spliced together, even in the same book. There are even places where the same story is told twice, two different versions, one after the other.

The authors of the New Testament are all anonymous, except for a few (not all) of Paul's epistles. None of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were written by the men they're named after. Revelation is written by a man named John but it's not clear if it's supposed to be the same John as in the Gospel of John.

In fact not a single book was written during Jesus' lifetime, or by anyone who actually met him or knew him.

The Bible was written by over 40 authors who came from just about every walk of life conceivable, including fisherman, kings, a butler, priests, and a tax collector. The 66 books of the Bible were written over a 1,500 year span in three languages on three continents with one uniting, consistent theme.
