Who is the artist of "The Little Black Boy Picture" on CW's The Game?

Throughout the series of the show there is black and white portrait of a little black boy with his hands holding his head that is hanging up in Melanie & Derwin's apartment! In season 2, Melanie says she gave that to Derwin when he got drafted. I have only seen glimpses of the portrait, but I would love to know who the artist is and what it was called.
