Who is riding Touring Harley for the first time?

I guess I'm a little different from most. My first Harley was a FLH. It was a old, used up POS. Everything that could be wrong with it was wrong. I was young, dumb, and poor. On a good day it ran without something breaking. Of course that was a lot of years ago and it was my bike for my teen years. My second was a new Sportster, which carried me through my 20's. A great bike that I rode the wheels off of. Then on to FXE's for my 30's, then FXD for my 40's, Now I've been a RoadKing rider for the past 11 years. If I ever get another bike, it may be a street glide, but I'm not even thinking of anything but what I have.
 
I've always been told that I have some of the habits of an older man all my life. I'm 32 - I have owned several bikes, but I'm picking up my first Harley this afternoon - a '06 Ultra Classic. It is a bit of a mature man's bike, for sure, but I love the way they ride and my wife can't whine that her ass hurts anymore with that big LaZboy in the back that she sits on, haha. Definitely my first touring bike, hopefully not my last.
 
Bought a 2010 glide last September.....came from and still have a 1991 Fatboy.....riding my Glide is like sitting on my couch , I love it
 
Traded in my 2009 Sporty 883 low TODAY for an FLHP. Made a 6 hour jaunt Labor Day from western New York to northwestern Ohio and I'm still trying to crawl out of next week, let alone get my hearing back visa vi the V & H short shots.

It's like being on two different planets. I will say, tho, that the sporty, it just really had the 'soul', ya know? I was all pure bike. Purchased August 27, 2009. After this past Monday's journey, pure soul only goes so far and, I need my health. This Road King bike has been like an old shoe since driving it home this afternoon. My first afternoon with my first touring Harley.
 
im on my 1st tourer couldnt be happier, course ive got the customizing bug as well lol, actuality this is my secound flh, my 1st was in the 90s, a stripped flh high bars, 3inch primary drive, flames on the tank aah those where the days lol, oil leaks broken footpegs, straight pipes lol
