Who is riding Touring Harley for the first time?

I picked up a 2000 UC recently as my first Harley and my first tourer. I'm coming from Honda's VTX series of bikes so it's not like this is my first large bike, but it is the first one that was setup for touring outta the box.

I am 30,00 miles into my 2010 limited. Experience is good but the bike is now in the shop. It has a clunking noise when the clutch is released.

I just bought a new '10 SG. I am wondering what to do with the exhaust? Do I need to get rid of the catalyst to up preformance and lower heat?
