Yeah, and I understand that Democrats in this state seem to fail to realize that when they ignore the 2nd Amendment and the license for CCW from other "connected" states, or the marriage licenses from other "connected" states, or the endless examples of things that the Democrats here, who claim to be so "open and free" ignore when it doesn't suit them, and stick their hand in my wallet and pay for criminals.

But that is a moot point, just like what I quoted from you, since LOCAL and INTRA-state commerce is NOT the jurisdiction of the Federal Government.

If I open a sandwich shop, the only one, and don't deliver out of state (or even out of county), what "Commerce Clause" am I violating at the FEDERAL level? The Fed is there to regulate trade BETWEEN states, NOT WITHIN a state.
 
So without the ability to counter local-level corruption, how does that take place?

How does your property value defended by lead in paint, asbestos in walls, unintuitive machine shops that eat hands, the deaf being denied interpretation services, alcohol taxation dumped in favor of income taxes for the purpose of outlawing alcohol?

I don't think we would be friends anymore if you burned down our apartment complex. Amazingly enough, there are some homes that don't come with chimney's, fireplaces, or the ventilation necessary to spit a rabbit in your second-floor master bedroom. I guess maybe the whirlpool bath-tub could be converted into a big stew pot, but...
 
Isn't there an 'end' to competition, a priori to the operation itself? What happens then, without a ref?

But we sure as hell don't want niggers here and though you may be serviced equitable to white patrons, we sure as hell will call you a nigger the entire time one is on our property." you don't think that Fed regulatory agencies won't come in and say that is a violation of some law?
 
The only time you reach the 'end' of competition is when a company is so wonderfully efficient and responsible, that no other company can top them. In that case, that company again won't be killing off their customers. They've won the marketshare for a reason.
 
You could start such a business right now, and it is certainly legal under the CRA. All you have to do is rebrand yourself as a private club and charge a token membership fee (like $1/year), then you can discriminate against whomever you want to for any reason.

I guess if you called it RACIST LIQUOR, open 1-2 PM then your exclusive club would be bypassed by anyone looking for a real liquor store. But if the real liquor store had a racist sign out front it would be the same as putting a giant GO TO HELL SUBHUMANS ILLEGALS! sign on your lawn. Most communities have some sort of regulation.

Because if you can do it, others can do it. This is especially germane in areas where people who hold the same beliefs are concentrated. Like 'the south', which if I'm not mistaken, is more than one state no matter how you look at it.

Obviously Rand Paul. He thinks businesses should have the right to let a child die of thirst instead of selling her water that she is willing to pay for, as long as the child is black and the business owner doesn't like black people. Can't make this shit up.
 
He'd probably give the company a tax break for the costs of disposing of the body.
 
On PRIVATE PROPERTY as inside your house, but for a public serving establishment NO. You cant hang black people in effigy from a tree on your lawn just because you feel like it. Try a NO BLACKS, CHINESE, MEXICANS OR DOGS ALLOWED sign out front, and see what happens. I mean do you have the right to display profanity to the public? Racism is far more obscene imo.
