Who is more knowledgeable, a electronics technician or a Journeyman electrician?

Who is more knowledgeable, a electronics technician or a Journeyman electrician? I'm just curious to see what kind of responses I get. Who do you think has more knowledge in electrical theory, physics, and over all better hands on electrical experience?
 
the electronics technician has the best theories and physics because he is educated.


the journeyman has the "been there done that" quality and the experience. he's not thinking of new things and inventing, he's going with what he knows and knows how to fix.
 
I was an electronis Technician in the Navy. I re-wired my entire house because of various electrical issues. From the outside panel to the outlet in by bathroom. Every single wire. I might not have done it as well as professional electrician ( they may have made fewer circuits), but it works well these past five years.
Now get an electrician to fix a digital to analog converter for a data transmission suite.
 
I thought a journeyman is someone who is like an apprentice? It is for sure in a different field. My ex was a journeyman rigger for concerts.
 
Base on my experience as an Architect handling design-built of building, the Electronic Technician applies his knowlegble on Electronic Appliances like TV, Electric Fan repair, rewinding and the like. He can be employed in Sony, Sanyo, TLC Service Centers

While a Journeyman Electrician applies his electrical skill and knowledge in Wiring, Installation of Circuit Breakers, Entrance Cup of Exterior Service Wiring of residential, commercial, institutional and other architectural and engineering structures. In short for construction of buildings not on electrical appliances. He can also work in Meralco, Sfelapco and other Electric Company.

Who is more knowledgeable?, depends on the academic preparations, class standing, and his eagerness to learn the ropes of the profession of the person involved. So my answer would be BOTH, cause they differ in the type and scope of work or jobs they handled.
