Zeppelin and Queen have certainly influenced metal, but are they metal themselves?, thats debatable, though they have made their fair share of metal songs.

No one does really, only those who actually like that style of metal. I barely listen to them anymore but I still think they're pretty talented by our standarRAB. I'd take Shihad anyday though.

Aren't Tapeworm just a project? Like an experiment....An attachment band covering other banRAB. I know Maynard has done some work with them with APC but I haven't heard of them otherwise.
