Who Installed Your WO 518's?

My close test dealer doesn't seem to be interested in installing anything but Harley bars. Is this consistent across the board with Harley dealers? Any good Indy shops in the Columbus, Oh area?
Thanks, Jim

Did my own, took about 8 hours total. I also ran internal wires and installed new stainless brake lines and clutch cabl. Piece of cake. Would do it again in a heartbeat. This forum is an awesome resource, along with a maintenance manual I believe most people could do it with few problems.

I bet if you insist on them they will do it. I'm sure they probably make more money on the Harley parts and that's why they push them, could be that they are easier to warranty for them also.
I had a set of those bars and they where real comfortable on short rides but killed my wrists on long rides, they had an odd wrist angle for me.

I just installed a set on the wife's 07 RKC Saturday. Did the internal wiring via twist, solder and shrink tubing. Not bad if you take your time and do a little research first. Manual is a must IMO.

I did finally break the dreaded brake light switch on the right lever. Swore I would never do that but forgot to block it and then was in a hurry to put her back together.

I straightened out the brake line very carefully and the clutch cable was more then long enough. Since you have TBW if you decide to tackle it there are some nice extension kits for sale.
