I dunno, it DOES kinda leave you wondering if he went back to those ways.
I like to think he would be strong enough to not go back to all that even after his bro was killed
I enjoyed the movie and no Dereek did not return to his old way's. He even converted his brother from racism, whom was killed, very dramatic turning point in the movie.
