WASHINGTON – Americans would be fined up to $3,800 for failing to buy health insurance under a plan that circulated in Congress on Tuesday as divisions among Democrats undercut President Barack Obama's effort to regain traction on his health care overhaul.


These people CANNOT be serious (can they?). The whole problem with health insurance in this country is the fact that we can't afford it---HELLO??? And, now you're going to add MORE financial injury to financial injury? Are these people crazy, or just plain clueless? And what are you going to do when countless people earning minimum wage (who can't even afford to support themselves even WITHOUT paying for heath insurance, despite having a full-time job) won't give you a red cent because they simply don't have the money?
 
He needs to tell them to do what he says. Why are they undercutting him , they need to help him . they are the ones making him look bad.
 
Face it, we are all screwed. The government will not stop until they have every cent we have. Oh ya don't forget besides taken all our money they will take all our rights and our homes too.
 
I tried warning people about this before the election. It was a known fact that with his national healthcare proposal, his plan was to fine people who did not insure their children under 18yrs old, whether they can afford it or not!

It wouldn't surprise me if he makes it mandatory for everyone now... Adults & children. He stretches the truth & changes his own rules all the time.
