My great great grandfather was a slave owner here in RI. He was one of the States founding fathers(Waterman family). He had 16 slaves that died, all apparently from old age and are buried in the back yard in a historical cemetery on his farm in South Kingston. He had released all his slaves prior to 1830's long before the Civil War. He had written about it in his diaries and said that it was his greatest mistake.

People r forgetting the iportance of history!! I wanna share the fact that theres a college name Malcolm King College in Harlem after MlK and Malcolm X. I thought that was cool,and i did not kno that before. I also jus found out that Bill Cosby was the first black to play n a series..Wow,howd that miss me..lol.Come on and Share ur knowledge too!!
