The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to take full responsibility for the Great War but were they truly the only ones who were to blame? The Austria-Hungry empire declared war on Serbia after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand (with the interrogated system of alliances this eventually pulled Germany into the war), the arms race between the Britians and Germans forced the rest of Europe to amp up their own military, and nationalism along with imperialistic greed from almost every country could all be reasons others should have taken some blame. What do you think? Any other specific examples of why another country should be held somewhat responsible?
