Who else is getting tired of people whining about the Yankees?

Ok yeah I get it the Yankees got swept. So what? So they suck. There are other teams that suck. Just seriously I think everyone has gotten the point. Right now I'm not defending the Yankees just there are other teams in baseball that are there to talk about. WOOHOO they got swept the Mets got swept people didn't make this big of a deal about it. Teams get swept, part of baseball. Teams get suckish, part of baseball. Seriously what is the point of all this?
I also have to add one thing. The Yankees are a franchise with 26 World Series wins. The closest franchise to that is still 16 World Series wins away and thats the Cardinals. To me that just makes me feel that no one should be trash talking them unless they are ahead of them.

Maybe you're just not as hardcore a fan as everyone else. I mean... if you were then you would be celebrating with all the other Yankee haters. But i guess your the type of fan who watches their team and goes Woo Hoo if they win and, oh well if they lose.
 
I love hearing it. In fact....

I HATE the Yankees and their bloated salaries. They're the reason there should be a salary cap!!! I loved watching AJ Burnett implode the other night, and every time they're beaten, I feel a sort of grim satisfaction. I can't wait 'til Jeter retires and all of the Bronx area bursts into tears. I wonder if they'll make it a holiday??? I hate the Yanks...

It sounds to me like you wrote the question to say that your cards have won 16 championships and only the yankees have won more...and unless a team has won more championships than another we as a society of fans can have nothing negitive to say about these teams..??

wow, that's convoluted logic...I personally don't care what you did last year..or 20 years ago.! WHAT HAVE U DONE FOR ME LATELY!...past is just that...the past!
 
So people aren't "hardcore" enough if they don't piss and moan if they lose, or go crazy when they win? Next time my team loses my mom better watch out cause she's getting five across the eyes so I can be a real fan.
 
Because no one cares if the Cards or the Mets gets swept.
However, when The Evil Empire goes down, then all is well.

Actually for a real reason, I think their big salary is pissing some people off. I have no problem with them.
 
I think there the easiest team for someone to pick on becuase they always sign the best players from free-agency and it makes people hate the yankees even more. So when they lose people like to laugh at them.
