McCain jumped all over Obama when he mistakenly said that his great uncle liberated Auschwitz instead of Buchenwald. I’m sure that in the opinion of survivors, a death camp is a death camp. McCain believes that this error proves that Obama isn’t ready for the presidency because he doesn't “have enough knowledge of the world”. McCain, reportedly a national security expert, made three humongous blunders while visiting Israel and Jordan. McCain stated that Iran (a Shiite country) is funding Al Qaeda in Iraq (a Sunni organization). He called Purim (a Jewish holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman’s plot to eradicate them in Persia) a “version of Halloween.” And when asked by the press if he had made contact with Hamas, McCain made a flippant remark - forgetting that he had indeed called the Hamas leader. Sen. Joseph Lieberman had to correct him on each occasion. Which one of these guys is ready for prime time?
