I have never attended college. I want to. I also want to find out information about what financial aid is available, and some other things.
Problem is, if I went into the main building(?) I have no idea who to ask for or what to say I want. There are two different campuses, I registered and took tests for that CC at Campus2 but want to go to Campus1. I am disabled, and as such will require extra assistance and/or accommodations. I want to speak to someone about this (see what my options are and what they can provide, etc), want to plan all of my class direction there because I have very specific goals for attending (interested in retaking classes that would reteach me things on the SAT), and, as said, want to get information and guidance on financial aid and other financial assistance since I know nothing of it (scholarships, etc).
I don't plan to attend until Spring 2010 so I have some time for that but I know each second that passes for financial aid information is money that is not available to me. I would go to the campus ASAP but I have absolutely no clue who or what to ask for or how any of this would work out.
