I'm writing an essay about the duality in Jekyll and Hyde, and I want to bring quotes form philosophers about the duality of human nature. I know Freud discusses this, but are there any others who do?

Also, I searched and searched, and I'm finding it hard to get articles that actually talk about this, so if you know of any, that would be really helpful!!

Thanks!
By duality, I mean the two sides of a person - the good and evil, or the natural and societal, etc. Dr. Jekyll is the good citizen, Mr. Hyde is all the evil instincts...

i have to write an essay for this class tomorrow too if your just in high school you can probally get by just fine only using the book. the last chaper is all about this its easy to find quotes on the duality of human nature but only in the last chapter

I can't imagine that a philosopher would talk about duality. There are spiritualists like Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle and the non-dualists like Tony Parsons and Steven Harrison.
