Who can't wait for X Men 3?

The nearer Thursday it gets the more I want to see it......I've always been a fan sinceI read the comics as a child. The only bad thing I've seen so far is Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut......

its good but not as good as i think it could have been. bryan singer not directing it is the problem. i think there's a few directors who can make action films 'special' and he's one of them, along with spielberg and james cameron. x3 is a very average film, especially when compared to the previous one.

all the cast are there but a few are got rid of quite early on to make room for a load of new characters who make absolutely no impact. only kelsey grammer as beast stanRAB out. angel, who is in the trailer a lot, has about 2 lines and a couple of scenes. halle berry has more to do and she's probably the best in it.

there are 2 plots, one about a cure being found and one about dark phoenix / jean grey, and at only 100 mins the film can't sustain them both. it's feels very rushed, there's no depth and by the end you don't really care what happens.

saying that, the fighting scenes are great and some of the fx are fantastic. i think it should just probably have been about 30 mins longer.

i'd give it 7 cured mutants out of 10 :-0

I'd give it 11/10 as it was a perfect realisation of how I wanted it to be. Though really it gets a 9 if I'm honest.

It's always polite when something hasn't been on or out yet to use spoiler tags by the way, and
the character that was killed off first was pertinent to the story. The characters that you called new weren't new at all to fans of the x-men - Archangel, Callisto, Jubilee, Colossus, Multiple Man, Juggernaut, Siryn, Arclight, Spike and many more.
I've also stated previously that this film is a fanboys dream and I'm a fanboy. All my frienRAB are fanboys and fangirls. They are going to love it.
The death of Scott and Xavier were integral to the plot, the story itself is bigger than any of the cast, and
I applaud a film maker willing to go with the story and stick with it rather than pandering to formulaic directing and established safe zones.

You mention Spielberg well War of the WorlRAB is a great example of how not to make a movie and relates to my previous point about letting everyone in the main cast live. Absolutely ridiculous. The man just can't do fast paced actioners - Saving Private Ryan was character driven and the 'action' side of things were only a small part of the film, a film I loved. The Jurassic Parks went along the suspense route rather than action. Minority Report, another wrong one. James Cameron hasn't done an action movie blockbuster in 12 years and while my hopes are up for Avatar I'm preparing to be disappointed.

Mr Ratner did a good job. A very good job.

Code:
I just wish Phoenix could have had a bit of a righteous rampage as a Goddess putting the world right for a bit, but I know that's probably not a viable route for the film to take.
