Who are the best poets of all time?

I have to put together a poetic anthology for this english project. I wanted to use work from the best poets of all time and was hoping for some names? Any ideas?
 
The ones that never show all of their work to others.

The best poetry I have ever read was in a steel backed book with two padlocks on it. Author unknown.

Take into consideration that a lot of the most talented people never have a chance to expose their work to the masses either from fear of ridicule or just lack of opportunity.

That being said I disagree with anybody else that even posts a name of any author that has been published multiple times, because true poetry doesn't happen all of the time . . . it just happens, it may take months, years or even decades before someone can put a pen to paper after creating a beautiful masterpiece.
 
Oh my goodness, that's just about an impossible task. Don't forget to mention poets who wrote in languages other than English.
