White smoke from engine on my 2000 dodge neon?

This a repost with added details. I would have just asked the bottom question but thought the first details can help.
I've been working on this car for awhile. Now after finally running it around the block I noticed white smoke coming from the engine. It's coming from the back of it under the heat shield. The previous owner said that the head gasket was changed within the last year. The car seems to be running ok without any problems. No warning lights come on or anything. What should I be checking now? Could this be just some left over oil burning?

Additional Details
Thanks to all who answered. Toady when I went to start the car a cloud of white smoke came out of the exhaust then stopped. Ran around the block and checked the engine. No smoke was seen. Waited a few hours and went around the block again and saw the smoke from the engine. None came out of the exhaust. Any clues why?

Ok pay attention, if the car "smokes" for 30 seconds, clears up and doesn't do it hot all the time, it's called condensation in the exhaust pipes. If it runs like a piece of junk, misses stalls, coughs, and has to have water added after five miles, with the temperature gauge or idiot light screaming hot, the head or gasket is done ps Neon's are not a great car
